They say that Paris is the city of light, but New York runs a close second. I find the winter light in New York absolutely captivating. Maybe there’s less haze in the atmosphere or the angle of the earth at this time of year. Every day, dusk is an amazing show of pinks, royal blues and purples.
This is the view from my office looking uptown at the Chrysler Building and the NY Life Building. The sun is setting to my left and the city lights are starting to come on. Granted, the photo is a bit grainy because of low light and the window, but I think it still captures the beauty.
